My LPGA Wife: The Perfect Golf Car Accessory
When I got married back in 2000, I seriously thought that my
days of leisure spent on the golf course were over. My brand new bride seemed
like the kind of woman that didn’t take kindly to her man running off every
Tuesday and Sunday to go play golf with his “cronies”. Boy was I in for a
surprise.
Greatest Gift of All
I always thank Jesus, for giving me a wife who learned to
love golf. I must admit, that in the beginning of our marriage I would tip toe
around the subject of golf and just go without her knowing. Soon she figured
out where I was going and asked me if she could join me. At first I was
mortified! Who in the world wants their wife breathing down their necks on the
green? I know I didn’t, but I figured that if she was going to let me play,
then she sure could come and watch!
I took my wife along with me one fine Sunday afternoon, and
wouldn’t you know that we both had a good time?! My wife actually wanted to
learn how to play! We hooked her up with lessons, coughed up the dough for the
gear and wear, and had her swinging away on the practice green in no time. I
was the proudest man out there. My wife had the greatest shot I had ever seen!
Soon, she and I were playing together.
Far Better Than Heated Seat Covers
My wife is the ultimate golf car accessory! Wherever we
happen to be going, I am the proudest man. I just love having my trophy, golf
playing wife sitting beside me. When people see her whack the ball and send it
flying, they are all in awe. She is destined to be in the LPGA!
When I say that my wife is the ultimate golf car accessory,
I don’t mean it in a derogatory manner. Having a wife that loves golf as much
as I do, and is extremely good at it, is every man’s dream! Sure, having heated
seats in the winter are nice, but my wife is much warmer. Having built-in
coolers as a golf car accessory is nice, but my wife is far more intoxicating
than anything I can put in the cooler.
Tooling around the green with my golf playing wife is the
greatest feeling. I can’t seem to put into words how happy I am that she plays.
She might not like the fact that I call her my ultimate golf car accessory, but
she’ll grow to like it, just like she grew to like golf.
She’ll realize that being called my ultimate golf car
accessory is a compliment! Oh, how I love golf. Oh, how I love my wife. I am
just so glad that the two loves in my life, love each other too!
